Another year has begun, and the excitement is high! That excitement stems from the possibilities that exist when we work together to inspire and ignite positive change within the lives of leaders and the teams who they lead.
I hope the new year finds you doing well and ready to get the most out of 2023. Personally, this is shaping up to be a banner year for me with the culmination of some significant life goals coming into focus. Training continues as I push toward the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships. The 2024 Paralympics are slated for August of next year and it will be my sixth consecutive appearance on the globe’s highest stage. It’s impossible to convey in words my feelings around this career that began some years ago in high school.
My newest book, No Need for Sight When You Have a Vision: What Blindness Can Teach Us About Risk and Leadership, is scheduled to drop on March 7, 2023. The sole goal of this project is to use my life’s experiences and learnings to equip leaders with the confidence and power to transcend beyond what their eyes see, no matter the circumstances. The unfortunate reality is that challenges are inevitable and we will face them in 2023, but recent history has proven that challenges pave the way to fresh ideas, improved strategy, innovative thinking, and renewed vision.
